Hi, I'm Ellie

With at least 45 licensed Massage Therapists from Natick, and close to 30 massage establishments in Natick- many of which have multiple therapists, how do you decide who to go to, to get a massage?

Different MT's work differently, we seek out continuing education classes that are of interest, support our practice and passion, and increase our skills. From sound therapy, movement, relaxation, deep tissue, sports massage, reiki, NKT, DNM, lymphatic drainage, Shiatsu, CST, MFR, trigger point therapy, prenatal, the options are wide ranging and varied. It can be daunting to figure out who is the right MT or practitioner for you. Some research of the options might be in order, checking out the various MT’s websites to get a feel for how they work is one place to start. Knowing what your goal is can help narrow it down. Are you looking for pain relief or relaxation? Are you looking for meditative or stress relieving massage or something to help you manage the aches and pains of working out? Massage for migraines or sleep issues? Do you need support in healing from injury or surgery? Or maybe you are looking for something that compliments physical therapy you are undergoing. There may be as many reasons to receive massage as there are modalities out there!

To help you better make a choice when looking at my information, you should know, along with doing a damn good general Swedish, deep tissue, movement integrated massage during which I can focus on injured areas, I also do Rossiter Stretching for pain relief, Neurokinetic Therapy to figure out why you are in pain and Core Movement Integration to help you learn better movement patterns to help prevent further issues. I continue to learn more about breathing, breathing anatomy and dysfunctional breathing disorders with ways to help and of course all things movement based.

Most importantly, you should know, I work with people to help them figure out their issues. I don’t fix you, I educate and help you to know how to care for and move in the body of you. My mission is to empower people to take charge of their own bodies, learn about their body, learn how to move in their body and know how to be the best you possible can be in the body you have.

What does that even mean? Well, I can educate you about the way your foot moves, for instance. Or how to change the way you move in the hips, so your low back feels better. I can help you learn how to gain better balance, breathe better for better core strength which in turn helps you to have less injuries. In my popular Integrated Body Program I work with you twice a week for six weeks, helping you on your way to better movement, less pain, a stronger core. This program isn’t for everyone. But it might be for your. Or it might be for someone you love who is struggling to move well or has had a debilitating injury.
If this sounds interesting to you, give me a call and we can talk about how I can help you to be the best you possible.
